Oh, it means Westham werent relegated and now I have a happy fiance again - till they get their butts kicked next year!

nah couldn't give a $h!t about man u or English SOCCER,I'm sure all your expats do though and probably the rest of the soccer fans in Aussie,but as a true blue Aussie football follower (AFL and Rugby) you can keep that soft girls game you call footy.

I'm Australian, I support Liverpool and like watching EPL. There are Man U fans here just like everywhere else but it is not a mainstream sport here and gets limited exposure and coverage compared to cricket, AFL and rugby.

Well known but not a "popular" game, but yeh probably most well known team ! Also Liverpool ironically, being a Rugby League fan it was never a main sport and was considered soft. Than again I also think AFL is soft compared to Rugby League, but I have worked at trying to appreciate all the codes here. The soccer world cup did a lot for that game here, I know with all our UK and European based stars we could compete with ANYONE ! Although we always called it "wog ball" here and thought it was a sissies game. When I watched Man U & Liverpool play last year in a Pub in London I was amazed at how they take it there !

I think english football is gaining more and more popularity in Australia, there are a lot of poms over here so we do like to watch, it's a bloody late night tonight though!!

Yeah, we love it, not as much as our Aussie Rules though.

Mind you if it's sport we'll watch it!
