Yes, I would say that Manny is the better fighter over Marquez right now because of what he has accomplished lately.  Marquez recently won a decision over Barrera that was closer than the scorecards read, and he beat Rocky Juarez.  Pacquiao on the other hand knocked out Morales twice, and he won more convincingly over Barrera than Marquez did.  I would not rule out a Marquez victory because he is a sharp, accurate puncher and Manny has had some trouble recently making 130, but I am favoring Pacquiao because he is younger, more explosive, and the stronger man.  I predict a fairly close, but clear decision for Pacquiao.

Well, looking at what each man has done over the last couple of years, I would slightly lean towards Pacquiao being better than Marquez, but that's just a small lean. I would be a "new fool", if I said that Pacquiao would convincingly beat Marquez in their rematch. Even though he is a hard hitter, Pacquiao can be wild and a good fighter with good counter punching ability could expose the little warrior. We all saw that when Marquez was fighting his way back into the fight in their first meeting. Marquez can simply do it again and if he manages to say off the canvas, then it would help him a lot.
