  1. Duh!

but Pacquiao is a Philippian Boxer

  2. dude yes he is way better than those three..he made `em 3 kiss the floor lol..barrera lost in both fights w/ pacquiao.

  3. i agree 100% with mrraraav

treetop8 you probably dont know barrera and morales accomplishments, your probably just a pacman fan and not a boxing fan so its understandable. wars take alot out of a boxer and barrera and morales gone threw so many of them before they even fought manny. and you cant say manny is better then marquez because their pretty much evenly good . ithaught the first fight was a draw and the second one should have gone to marquez.

  4. Manny Pacquiao is a mediocre fighter when it comes to boxing skills. He is just a tremendous puncher. In my opinion, he Lost BOTH fights with Marquez. He didn't really prove to be better than Marquez.  Marquez is the best SKILLED boxer out of the 4. I'm not saying he is better than the other three,  I just think he has more boxing Skill than Pacquiao, Barrera and Morales.

    1. Barrera

    2.Morales

    3.Pacquiao

    3.Marquez.

  5. Yes (but by only slightly)

if Pacquiao fought them at their primes, it would probably have been a closer fight (or a pick em fight) if all four fought against one another in their primes.

Let's not forget how Pacquiao won belts at three different weight classes and is not even finished with his career, so let's not rush but as of right now, Pacquiao has proved his greatness against three legends.

nevertheless, Pacquiao is the only one to beat all THREE and knock them down as well even though none was able to do the same to Pacquiao (except Morales' only win)

in the end, the record books will show that Pacquiao beat three legends and it will not have an asterisk saying that they were "in decline".

  6. Yep.

  7. Is that a question? Just look at the facts. Facts beat opinions in boxing. All 3 have been beaten by the Pacman. All have been floored several times and none has floored the Pac. They say they rattled him but he never fell. Who fell? All 3 of those mexican greats. If they are greater, they would all have a better record against Pac.

If you're a great and you agreed to fight, then you lose, of course you are obviously no better than the other fighter. Irregardless of how many fights or what you're age is. Saying they are not in their prime is rubbish because when they fought, they were all the top fighters in their division. The fact that they agreed to fight Pacman while they were still ranked on the top, they lost because their boxing skills wasn't enough to beat the Pacman. Yeah great boxing skills is good but only if you keep on winning. Plain and simple truth.

Quite hard to swallow for some but Pac has the knockdowns, wins and belts to back it up while the others have NONE. All they have are stories of how they great they were before facing a real fighter like Pacquiao and how they all became canvas kissers because of Pacman. Funny how you could rank them higher than Pac when none of them has proven in the ring that they are better than the Pacman.

Before Pacman- 1. Morales, 2. Barrera, 3. Marquez

After Pacman- 1. Pacman, 2. Morales, 3. Barrera, 4. Marquez

  8. Questions like these are subjective, varying with each person . The real question is who's the most exciting? The Pacman no doubt.

  9. dude is u stupid?. didn't he beat them all? and not just beat them, he put the three of 'em down on the canvas

  10. I agree with Frank D, Manny Pacquiao was ascending as these great boxers were descending. Morrales was 47-2 when he first lost to Pacquiao and Barrera was 57-3 that accounts for a lot of wars. Manny is just now starting to creep into that many fights 46-3 but he hasn't had as many wars either so he isn't as aged as these other two fighters yet. He is 4-5 years younger as well. At the time that they fought he was clearly the better boxer but it is hard to say what the fight may have been like if they were all in their primes. Marquez I think is a little bit below all these fighters. Despite his competitive matches with Pacman when he stepped up to fight the really big fights like Chris John, Freddie Norwood or even Pacman he never quite got the job done. He has never beaten a legitamate undefeated fighter. Instead of going on after his first fight with Pacman and fighting the best he waited and chased Manny around for four years sometimes fighting fighters that Pacman or Barerra had already beaten but never in as dramatic fashion. Even in his win over Barerra there was controversy that took away from the win and left questions in my opinion.

As far as their place in history I wouldn't know how to rate them yet. I'd have Pacman third right now but in the next 3 years he could be  number one.

    1. Barerra

    2. Morrales

    3. Pacquiao

    4. Marquez

  11. "Better" is a dangerous word, Manny beat them all and lost only to Morales.  Both Marquez fights were razor thin and the difference was Manny's punching power, honestly I thought he lost the first fight with Marquez, but if it would have had a three knock down rule in effect he would have appeared to own Juan Manuel.  He clearly dominated Barrera in the first one, then Marco fought to survive in their second fight.  Pacquiao surprised me with how well he boxed in the second Marquez fight, he showed improvement, and that one was another that could have went either way.

Yeah, Manny's better than the three Mexican greats, but not by very much.

  12. Its hard to say that he isnt as he has beaten all 3 and in their primes too, the one question mark for me would be whether he would of beaten Barrera and Morales before they had the wars as we all know those epic battles must off taken something from those two great fighters but i suppose that is just open to debate all we can go from is results and he would have to be classed as the best of the bunch.

  13. of course! no doubt!

he blemished the records of those three. he let them taste knockdowns.
