seriously this guy is a beast. hes second in the NL in pitching with at least 11 decisions. hes 9-2 with a 3.68 ERA. hes only behind Lohse from STL.

and to top it all off he pitched a perfect game in the minors last year.

  1. what do u mean second in the NL in pitching? plus hes not a beast eventually his high WHIP is gonna get him in trouble. so sorry to break your good mood but most of his success has been lucky so far.

  2. ya,

    hes a beast!!!

even if the brewers loose sheets and sabathia next year, they will still have a great 1-2 punch with parra and yovanni.

parra is just under the spotlight because he is pitching under two other aces this year.

but another underrated pitcher is Tim L. for the giants. If he was pitching for a contender, he would be highly publicized.

  3. yes manny parra is a good pitcher and doesn't get as much recognition that he should get.  with cc sabathia, ben sheets, and manny parra as the brewers top 3 pitchers, i would be scared to be the opposing team trying to hit agains them.

i'm actually going to the game tonight to watch manny pitch :)

  4. idk maybe

  5. I still believe Terence John Mulholland was an underrated pitcher, he is reknown by fans, but not by ANY of his teams, for completing a Perfect Game on his own!

  6. He is very underrated. He pitches tonight, we will see how it goes, he will probably dominate like usual. I will be at the game tonight, I'm so excited.

  7. His what, first AAA start was it? It's another feelgood story, because he was always the second or third pitching prospect for the brewers, behind guys like Nick Neugebauer(never became a good MLB guy), Mark Rogers(Injury plagued), and Yovani Gallardo... Parra never was the guy in the spotlight, and now he's performing better than most MLB pitchers. Give him his 15 minutes of fame for once. He's a great pitcher, and deserves to be treated like one.

To those who don't like his WHIP, he's one of the best in the league with pitching out of trouble. He's very mature for his age.

  8. Kyle Lohse is the most underrated pitcher in the NL this year.

Jason Duscherer is the most underrated pitcher in the AL.

  9. nah

Tim Lincecum - 2 years.  With the bad giants.  no one cares about the giants.

    2.79 era

leads the league in strike outs
