  1. No. He plays with no class and he thinks he is bigger than the game. I dislike him very much and I support Bostons decision to get rid of him.

  2. If you call showy, demanding, and stubborn no reason, then yes.

I didn't say he was a bad player, he's just a bit immature at times.

  3. The Boston RedSox WOULDN'T have won a World Series without him and if they think their as good or better with him gone, well, stay tuned for the rest of the story

  4. No.  He is being a jerk, so why should everyone forgive him.  He had a tantrum, then he stopped playing hard because he was mad.  He threw a member of the Sox staff to the ground... What else does he have to do to deserve being treated badly?

  5. because of all the c**p he went through with the Red Sox. some fans just cant move on

oh and BTW he treats baseball the way the baseball should be treated AS A GAME loosen up people

  6. While i have no hatred towards Ramirez he has bought this on himself with his recent antics. The way he acted towards the Sox was very unprofessional & childish.

  7. no...hes a big crybaby that does childish things to get what he wants...hes like what...35?...and acting like a baby...its time for him to grow up...plus the way he went asbout with the red sox orginization was very unprofessional

  8. Here's the thing.

8 years ago, he signed a contract.  The contract he signed had some options to it and he made a lot of money from it already.

He now thinks he's worth more than that (a la Alex Rodriguez), but unlike Rodriguez, Manny didn't have the outs the Arod had.

So, to create an atmosphere other than the one he agreed to, he acted like a baby, dogged his responsibility and had placed his small minded needs up against the benefit of his employer and all their customers who paid his salary.

If players want 100% control of themselves, they should sign 1 year contracts.

There was no way Boston could get out of not paying him if he was sucking.

His actions are that of a spoiled child.  Perhaps he's secretly a Steinbrenner.

  9. Yes. Everyone talks like they are baseball insiders. The man has been one of the best players in history, especially in the post season where he has an incredible record, but he is black and has a funny accent. The closet racists crawl out and unfairly bash him for things they THINK they know but don't. If he were white and didn't have an accent, he would be as popular as Mickey Mantle was. He's fun, entertaining, and very, VERY good.
