  1. I think he is...I'm not 100% sure but I know that his sister Dinara Safina is competing in the Olympics.

  2. Don't think so as he already missed the qualification date for the Olympics.  Davydenko,Youzhny, Andreev or maybe Tursunov will represent Russia to compete in the Olympics as they are rank above Safin.  Each country only allow three players (the most) to compete in the games if they have more than 3 players rank inside top 30.  Safin will have no chance in competing in Olympics if non of the above mentioned Russians pull out.

  3. He should, especially since he has been THE hero for Russia in Davis Cup over the years. Even when his world ranking was down, he always played well in Davis Cup, and I think he deserves to be on the Olympic team, even if he hadn't done so well at Wimbledon.

  4. No.

    Davydenko, Tursunov, and Andreev are representing Russia

  5. No. Even though he proved himself worthy at Wimbledon this year, he's just another one of those streaky guys like Tsonga and Fish. Russia doesn't want to represent him.

  6. I don't think so;

    :D
