  2. Thats my great aunts name and my sisters middle name. I love it. I think its pretty. That side of my family is Irish, but born in US

Not a terribly popular one, but yes.  It's actually Italian, and many names in the US maintain their original language origins and feminine/masculine orientations, but often, in the last decades, it has been fashionable to make up names and/or change the gender.  Still, it would be rare to name a boy with a girl's name.  

    With the exception of SUE.  Well, of course, that was only one.
