Is Mark Selby the luckiest snooker player alive ?

Ive watched pretty much all of this final so far today and i cant believe how lucky he is....sure he made a nice clearence to make it 8-8 but he only had the chance to do that because he got a lucky snooker behind the green.

I also hate his style hes so boring and defensive i hope he gets beat he doesnt deserve to win...hes so gd at comebacks because as soon as he gets in trouble in a match he just destroys it and takes a frame and hour by sending all the reds towards the cush....so annoying.

Who do u think is a lucky player ?

Selby is definately the luckiest closely followed by John higgins!

You need a little luck in Snooker, but I don't think he had it excessively, Ronnie fluked a pot once and had a bit of luck when he played a loose safety shots or missed a pot.

I'd agree that Ronnie's attacking play is far more entertaining but Selby can play well (after all you can't get to be provisionally Number 4 in the world just by luck).

Yes he is one heck of a lucky player. Even though i wanted Ronnie to win I can't be mad on Selby because he played nice. It was an awsome final to wach..so equilibrate..I was so nervous at the final game.

I hope Ronnie will win the world snooker championship. He knows how to entertain viewers.

i agree.. he was lucky to beat ronnie! like that snooker behind the green.. that was sooo annoying,

..his luck will run out sooner or later.. hes not exactly a good player compared to O'sullivan, hes only good at playing safe.

...but anyway when the world championships start in April im sure Ronnie will win it!!

I don't think he's lucky at all. Ok, he had a bit of a run against Ronnie, but you don't have his record over the last year due to luck.

This is the man who also got a sponsors invite to the world 8 ball pool champioship a couple of years ago, and won it.

Not got ronnie's flare, but he scores heavily these days, and his tactical game is second to none.

but about selby yeh he does get lucky but they all do sometimes i think he is good 2 watch but i like watchin ronnie he is quick! i wish i cuda sin it all =S
