Is Math Analysis the same as Pre-Calculus?

I am taking Math Analysis in high school next year, and I am just wondering, is it Pre-Calculus, with a different name? If not, what's the difference between Math Analysis and Pre-Calculus? Thanks!

If it's called "Analysis of Functions" that's Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry mixed together in one class. If it's just called "Math Analysis" then I have no idea. Sorry. :/

pretty much but not completely (my brother said exactly that lol) hes supposed to take calculas at his college campus but all the classes got filled and he's taking pre calculas.

I'm not sure what math analysis is because i skipped it. i'm going in 9th grade and doing math in the university of buffalo but pre-calculus is doing dificult multilayered calculater problems where u need ways to use balancer equasions to switch the meaning without changing the problem. if thats what math analysis is then there u go if not then thats the differance
