  1. alot of people would like to have Holliday but alot of teams would not want to pay the price for Holliday it would take some major league ready talent something to help them now and prospects to get him and thats what i heard form a rockies source but i could see the yanks calling up

  2. No. They Can't afford his salary. And they don't need another Bat with utley, Howards, and Rollens.

  3. Not gonna happen.

  4. no dude  matt holliday isnt going anywhere...period

  5. why would the phillies need more power?? they have howard, burrell and utley...if i was an owner and my GM even suggested that to me i would fire him

  6. No.

  7. i don't see this happening b/c the phillies already have a stacked lineup they don't need a bat they are more inclined to go for pitching.

also the rockies are back in contention for the nl west. so if the phillies were to acquire holliday the trade would be massive.

  8. Matt Holliday won't be going anywhere, the Rockies are not going to get rid of him now, he's all they got. Todd Helton's gotta be close to shot after all these years.

  9. not likely at all...the phillies don't have the prospects, and it looks like the rockies are looking to hold onto him anyway, considering their division is wide open and can be won next year by anyone

  10. they already backed out of the trade, holliday is going nowhere
