Is Matt Leinart officially a bust?

There is no "officially" a bust.  Different people work in different ways.

Trent Dilfer could be considered a bust because he never won anything on the team he was drafted 6th overall on, but then again he won a Super Bowl and was a productive QB for many seasons, which doesn't qualify him as a bust.

Talking about Matt Leinart specifically, I can't say that we should call him a bust now, because I've been saying it since before he was drafted.  A system QB if I ever saw one; the system being USC's offense.

NO NO hes not a bust you you think of it he really hasnt the chance to show what he can do, i think they should start him, there are playmakers all around him, and if coached well the offense could be something special

No, it wouldn't be stupid to label him, Bush, or anyone else in their draft class as a bust this early. He is going into his third year, and yes he has been ddisappointingso far but he needs time to adjust. So does Bush, I will tell anyone who tries to label Bush as a bust; to look at the first two season stats of Clinton Portis and Tiki Barber.

This is pretty much a make of or break it year for him. If he doesn't play well this season then you can pretty much label him and Bush a bust, but to do it before the end of the season would not be right.

Hes on on a bad team.....the only QB that has pulled off a playoff win there has been Jake Plummer......its a bad team to play for....
