Is May a good time to go to florida? Will i miss the spring break crowds? What is weather like. Please advise?

What part of May are you considering... Spring Break will most likely be over, but most school and colleges get out in late May and Early June here. I live within 15 minutes of Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. The weather is usually hot and muggy year round, we get a bit of a chill in the air between Dec and Feb. So your weather is not a problem, except forour normal afternoon summer showers.

You might miss Spring Break Crowds but if you go to early in may you might still get some and if you go to late in may you might get early summer vacationers. I went to Florida in May 2 or 3 years ago I think and the weather was very warm. We took my little sisters to Disney World and we were constantly waiting in line to get on the long cool rides like its a small world just to get cool. But I guess if your going to the beach this would be a good time to go. But if your wanting to go to a theme park like mgm or disney i would advise going when its cooler cuz its miserable being that hot with 2 little kids waiting in hour long lines. Good Luck!
