  1. It will bring boxing a few fans from wrestling and vice versa,Plus more money all the way around, managers, promoters,so on so forth.

  2. It's just entertainment for the fans and a draw more than anything.  This goes back some years.  I remember Ali fighting a wrestler years ago.

  3. This stunt by Floyd is not original, he is trying to get his face on different medias so he can be more recognizable for the future, smart ploy, and if it gets even one person to check out Boxing, hey that's great, maybe he'll wrestle a bear next like Jackie Moon.

  4. It is as meaningless as if Floyd fought BoZo the clown, but for 20 million, I might just put on a red nose and face paint myself.

  5. this dude gots his palm open period! that guy is all about banking some greens!!!

isin't de la hoya and mayweather gonna re-match in May?  who would actually pay the pay per view price for mayweather on wrestling that is so throwing money away!

  6. i think mayweather is trying to get people's attention and it' also for money, and he wants to make name himself

  7. Its not bad for boxing. People will still shell out $50 to watch him fight ODLH in November.

Its not about MMA, or anything like that, its about $$$. Plain and simple. 20 mil to be exact.

The winners from it are Pro Wrestling, they will benefit financially, Floyd (he benefits financially).

Should PBF but a nasty nasty nasty hurting on the Big Show, perhaps there will even be an upside to the PPV sales of the ODLH-May II fight.

Floyd does nothing for boxing, does nothing for MMA, only for himself.

Is it disgusting?  I suppose, but I have to admit, I couldn't help but be proud sitting in a bar in Bangkok watching May destroy Hatton, and all of the Brits sat there looking shell shocked.

But to answer your question, its all about and only about PBF and his personal cash flow.

  8. Great for promotion!! Brings more fans to the sport or back to the sport. Mayweather is a genius!!! And a Hustler!!!

  9. GREAT CROSS PROMOTION!!!

I have been losing my interest in Boxing with exception of a few fighters, I could probably count them on my hands. And Wrestling, it's a good show, but it gets old. If they make "Money" Mayweather the "heel" he'd be fun to watch in WWE.

It brings alot of Wrestling fans into Boxing if they see him on WWE. They will want to watch him fight "for real". And it brings Boxing fans into Wrestling out of curiousity. Keep in mind, Floyd is not the first, Ali, Tyson, Pazienza, and Holyfield have all had short stints in Wrestling as well as others.

Directly to your question, it was real ... to a degree. In Wrestling they refer to that as "taking a bump". Those punches looked a little pulled, but not much. Big Show took the bump because he just came back to WWE.

Also, he was training to be a pro Boxer (google it). He can take shots, and anyone who's really been hit a few times has been cut. The cut was accidental, but real.

Great show, I can't wait for Wrestlemania for the first time since WM6 (Hogan vs Warrior)
