  1. It is an example of his instability. We know he is emotionally unstable. He should explain instead of all this BS. How can they stand there & say she is a fighter of coruption while she is an abuser of her power. They depend on their voters to be stupid. She cares about people but takes a job as VP without considering the attention a 4 month baby needs with down's syndrome....It is both an example of his poor judgement & undercutting all the things he said. He does that all the time cause his supporters lack integrity. They say all this stuff like they did about Clinton & then they want a Pres. that has had many affairs.

  2. neither.

Palin has more experience that the Dems PRESIDENTIAL candidate....GO FIGURE....

    PTA,COUNCIL,MAYOR,GOVENOR. Once a business owner

Obama, community organizer and 143 days in the senate. PATHETIC

  3. John McCain's biggest opponent in a series of debates is usually himself.

I am pretty sure you can dig up some videos online of McCain vs McCain.

  4. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

I feel a little bit bad for them.

And then I remember the lies McCain keeps spreading about Barack Obama, and I suddenly don't feel bad anymore.

  5. Nope an excellent choice

    McCain WILL win in 08

  6. As some have mentioned, Palin has gubernatorial experience, even if she hasn't been in her current job for long.  Everyone else has Senate experience of course, but there's not much else there in terms of executive government.  Palin is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the State, and is obviously able to exercise State constitutional and legislative powers.  She has held elected office for 13 years, even if her resumé is considered wafer thin on experience, and especially foreign relations.

While Biden was brought on board to plug Obama's weakness in foreign policy, Palin helps McCain with his "Maverick" image by bringing on board a Washington outsider, who appeals to women voters, the Republican base (he hopes) and disaffected Clinton supporters (he hopes).  Palin also takes worries over McCain's age out of the equation.

McCain has taken a gamble, but I think it's a good one.  If it's a question of "judgment," I think his judgment has been politically risky, but understandable given the nature of this election.

At the end of the day, you vote for President on your ballot, not Vice-President!

  7. It is a contradiction, a 5year old  would realize that it damage  the theme. I heard that focus group showed that the experience theme  wasn't working , so he enhancing his maverick and reform image to replace it.

  8. It's a contradiction & a very poor choice, if he really expects women to vote for him simply because he chose a woman as VP, we are not all air heads!

  9. Absolutely correct on both...experience is a non-issue and McCain has bad judgment.

  10. Ah, I love the smell of desperation in the morning.

  11. It's both.  He chose her because he's desperate and is taking a huge risk.  The american people won't fall for his ploy though.  Especially the women he needs so badly to win over.   She's far from what Hillary supporters were looking for.

  12. brilliance is more the word, face it,what did we hear about the great speech from barrakopolis, lol.gotta love it!

  13. just more of the same with ovaries

  14. Not his terrible judgement. I just think at this stage that the Republicans theorise that Obama will probably s***w up, so they just throw McCain in as a no-hoper, so they can have the next candidate in, providing he stuffs in. Now if he doesn't...well then there is always 2024.

  15. Yes, it is a calculated contradiction. He is in effect asking if you want an inexperienced unknown in the back up job (with Plain) and if you want someone with no executive experience in the Big Boy chair making grown up choices.

Obama's choice is an equal contradiction that apologizes for his message of change that even he realizes he can't win an election on without his much criticized DC insiders.

  16. GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR HOLE!!!!

  17. part of me thinks that he has a hot mommy fetish

  18. Both Both She only had a relatively small amnt of responsibility, and already is under investigation for abuse of power for Christ Sake!!!

  19. It's a ploy or otherwise it proves his brains been chemofried.

  20. No, I think it was a brilliant move which will prove his judgment is once again far superior to Obama's.

  21. Hello....

She's had more leadership experience running a state than Obama has running anything. People seem to always overlook this little, but important fact.

  22. She's been a GOVERNOR - Obama's only been a senator.  She's got more experience and has been responsible for far more than Obama ever has.
