As far as foreign policy experience goes, Palin makes Obama look like Henry Kissinger. Can you imagine her across the table from Putin? Obama is very credible in that role.

And John McCain is already older than his life expectancy at birth was.

  2. Do you realize the VP doesn't do much?

Across from Putin? you mean if the President passes away? What makes you believe that Biden isn't a horses' rear end anyway -- Dems ignored him for his 2-year candidacy, now the DNC contrives a speech/story and you fall in line? he's what Obama was fighting AGAINST.

  3. McClone did the only thing that gave him a shred of a chance to get elected, he picked a woman, any woman would have done.  He is just hoping to steal some of the women who were going to vote for Hill.  And it may just work?

  4. Now, now. I'm sure she would make Putin a mean Caribou burger.

  5. Yes I can see her talking to Putin. She has way more backbone that that gutless coward Obama, who only wants to cut and run.

  6. obama has ZERO foreign policy experience and the Russians would eat him alive!

  7. I think his vp choice is just a gimmick to lure those undecided hillary voters who really want to see the advancement of women in the white house. I really hope he doesnt win. I am so disgusted by his choice.

  8. Nah. I was just saying this morning:

If I were one of those leaders of a radical country, ( you know the ones), who would I rather be sitting across from? A smart, pretty, young, honest patriotic woman. Or a (pretty), young egotistical man.

She does have a lot to learn, but I really can imagine her across from Putin. I think they would be smiling too.

  9. First of all,

if his move was to have a woman to bring the Hillary voters his way, then he flopped and here's why:

    1. She has little to no experience, which would not have mattered but that was one of the big deals the Reps were making about Obama.

    2. He hasn't shown himself as having as much knowledge as Obama either (not saying that he isn't knowledgeable, just hasn't shown any in my opinion)

Furthermore, it's too fake. It shows that he's just choosing anyone at random-again in my opinion. He already has a scandal behind him on leaving his crippled wife to be with his current wife. So this was not a good look. I actually wish he would have chosen Romney-he's young energetic, and it would have brought the focus back on the real issues and not race, s*x, etc.

Just my opinion. I was undecided but now I know  due to his miscalculation. Sorry she's not the ticket

  10. Not only does Palin have zero foreign policy experience, she has zero national policy experience!  I'm sorry, but governing a state of 680,000 people and mayoring a city of 6,000 people does not prepare you to be one old man's heartbeat away from the presidency of the United States.

At least Obama has taken trips to foreign countries, including Iraq, for example.  In Germany he spoke in front of hundreds of thousands of people and was greatly received.

Palin does have tha advantage in terms of moose experience.  Of course that's mostly from eating them.

I've read a lot of opinions about this pick today.  Everyone agrees it's risky.  Some say it's a smart risk, others have said McCain is out of his mind.  Considering his age, health (4 bouts with cancer), criticism of Obama's experience, and Palin's complete lack of experience, I think it's just a terrible choice.

  11. Can not have that slogan "Buy two, get one" obama already owns it!

  12. Dude She is a typical soccer mom who became Governor of an unknown state by default

I don't know why What Mccain was thinking before choosing her

He must have lost his mind

  13. I smell democrat desperation.

  14. Hard choice. I strong war hero, or a visionary? Hard choice.

  15. Obama has foreign policy experience where????

  16. astonishing  and McCain runs on a slogan country first?  Practically anyone would have been a better choice then Palin!

Choosing Palin is another confirmation of political trickery and bad judgment!

  17. I agree.

also, if we going to be dealing with the middle east for the next 100 years, is having a woman with no experience the best person to meet with sexists Muslim leaders!!!!!?????

  18. I don't know if you realize this, but governing Alaska is like running your own country that is dependant on cooperation from other states.  48 states can't make the same claim.

And when did Obama get foreign policy experience?
