Is it true the navy declared him to be 100% disabled, and won't let him command a nuclear submarine, the most lethal weapon available? I just read that...but I hope not.

Yes, he is a disabled Navy Veteran

The Navy would not let him command a Nuclear Submarine even when he was 100% physically capable.  He was a Naval Aviator.

His physical capabilities, if elected, will have nothing to do with his being Commander-in-Chief and giving orders to those commanding a nuclear submarine.

I certainly hope that he IS a safety problem - for the terrorists lurking in our midst.
