Is McCain all too aware that only 29% of voters are Republican & can NOT win without Hilary supporters?

Could this be why he is still putting out the TV ads that BOLD FACE LIE about Obama raising taxes on working families? When Obama has made it very clear that he will only remove the billions in tax breaks Bush gave to Oil Co.s , filthy rich etc.?

Don't kid yourself.  BOTH candidates are chasing Hillary's supporters.  Unless some bombshell goes off in one of the camps, Hillary's supporters (middle class people with a high priority on the economy) will decide this election.

hussein 'i have been a Christian for 20 years but took the oath of office on the quran' obama does in fact intend to tax and spend the Country into oblivion.  It has already outlined $843,000,000,000.00 in NEW government spending.  It has stated its intent to tax into oblivion those who employ millions.  So, claiming its not a direct tax to the poor, by taxing the c**p out of their employers, the cost will simply be passed on to the middle and lower class through job cuts, wage reductions, benefit reductions, etc.  THAT is what hussein has made clear.

When you raise taxes on Businesses - jobs are lost to compensate for the payment of taxes. Prices go up - inflation goes up.

Intelligent well informed people will vote for McCain. Individuals who are clueless and uneducated will vote for Obama.

Obama's big idea of stealing from the rich and giving handouts to the poor wouldn't work or be very good for this country.

But anyway, Clinton supporters need to vote for McCain instead of voting for the people who trashed her and called her and Bill racists. Vote McCain, and then Hillary will be back next time.

Hillary supporters are mostly Democrats. McCain was never going to woo these women, even with Palin as his VP. And that's fine. He doesn't need Hillary supporters as he his election strategy never really involved winning over the Hillary vote. He needs some Democrats and some independents to win.

1.  Your 29% statistic is bogus.

2.  If Obama doesn't keep the Bush tax cuts that were passed on ALL families then everyone's taxes will effectively be raised.  It's a very easy concept that people don't seem to grasp.

3.  When Obama gets a windfall tax passed on corporations and the price of consumer goods rise dramatically you may as well consider that a tax increase because either way it's more money out of our pockets.

McCain is well aware that he needs to pull the undecided and swing voters. Take his speech at the RNC last night as a case in point. Most of what he had to say was designed to pull people from the middle. All the talk about bi-partisanship and working together is not intended to to rally the Republican base. All the talk about reform and changing business as usual is aimed at people who are sick of the way things are now. While that may appeal to some Republicans, it was aimed at people in the middle.

In fact, I almost got the impression McCain was actually putting the Republican base on notice that if he's elected, Republicans are not going to do things as they always have.
