Um, McCain's sanity is definitely in question here, I'll agree.  Especially since, if McCain wanted to choose a woman as his running mate (which under the crrent political conditions seems  like a pretty cynical and empty gesture, not a real commitment to equality and diversity)--he had plenty of realistic choices (Condi Rice, for example. I personally don't like her--but she is intelligent, competent, and highly qualified).

Instead ,McCain passed over Rice and many other very well qualified women in the GOP to choose this ridiculous Barbie doll. Pathetic. PUtin, or Ahmadinajad would  simply laugh at her.

If they underestimate this lady, they'll will be quick to get an attitude adjustment.

They will, however, feel secure in initiating their belligerent policies and then sending some figurehead to swap diplomacy with Obama.

As a McCain supporter, I was kind of upset by his choice.  That being said, I do not think McCain is insane (yet).  I'm hoping he knows what he is doing.  I have heard mixed reviews from people around me and in the news.  Some criticize him, but others praise his choice as "brilliant".  

In regards to Iran's and Russia's leaders, I do not think our president should make choices solely based on those two countries.  We need a VP who will bring good strengths to help with our domestic problems as well as our international ones.

Ahmadinajad doesn't even take Bush seriously and he clearly has no problem coming to your country and punching you in the mouth, metaphorically speaking. I would be far more afraid of Palin then Obama.
