  1. Obviously women, but he won't get this woman's vote.

    Proud suppoter of Obama.

  2. I think that he picked in hopes of getting votes from all the bitter Hillary supporters that are upset that Obama is the democratic candidate. That's her only purpose.

As usual, republicans put their party first, then the country.

  3. McCain's record shows he votes for and decides what he thinks is best for the country. He has clearly pissed off his own party numerous times because of this. Barak has NEVER voted against his party line. McCain has his name on legislation to curtail ethics issues both parties have. Barak worked on that legislation and then voted the party line AGAINST it. McCain places an ad congratulating Barak Obama on the anniversary of MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech. Barak Obama goes negative and states Sarah Palin (some one with more executive experience than Barak) has no experience. Barak says he's for change yet chooses a Washington insider, devotes 1/2 of his acceptance speech to negative attacks on John McCain, and disses the woman who had 18 million popular votes, Hillary Clinton. McCain chooses a woman with family values, executive experience, and a track record of fighting corruption and ethics violations in her own party. I don't think many Barak's supporters can handle the truth, so they try to paint him as GW Bush, out of touch, or they are ageists. Too bad, it only demonstartes a lack of respect for the truth, and therefore a lack of respect for you, the American voter. You may have different views and that's what makes us great. Just try to filter out the BS and search for the truth by examining actions. Talk is cheap.

  4. I think he's more interestedin bringing religious right defectors back into the fold.

  5. HA HA, I think McCain may be confused here..or maybe all the other contenders turned him down!!!!

  6. Say what you will, no matter what you choose dilute yourself with to explain the inevitable, McCain has just made one of the most ballsy and unpredicted moves in modern US election history. Today I'm even prouder to be a Republican.

  7. both

  8. women voters...... that is why this pick is about what is best for John McCain , not what is best for the country.  Contrary to his usual rhetoric of country first.

  9. He is interested in the votes, and only the votes. This will backfire on him, though. Hillary's supporters wanted Hillary, not some moose huntin' x-beauty queen. Besides that, Republican women are an anomaly, they are scarier than Republican men.

  10. Wow  how mislead you are and  more dumber than most of people here. I am a woman, I am an Independent, I would never get near Democrat or Republican until they give something better back to women to have the positions into White House. I am glad MC cain is reaching out instead blinding out.  Obama blindly s/shut out Hillary, just because cannot stand health care reform Clinton legacy. I am glad President Bush gave the opporunity to Condiace Rice, a black woman to show she can do it.  Offer to more women on all kind position in White House send the positive messages to little girls, when they grow up!

  11. It's just a crude ploy which won't work Palin is nothing compared to Hillary in terms of experience and class. McCain's choice is just an insult to voters and a desperate, failing attempt. And I say this as an Obama supporter from the beginning of his campaign

  12. all of the above

    he definitely pulled me in

    Mccain/Palin 2008

  13. women

  14. Both.  Scared, ain't ya.

  15. All of the above and it is freaking ya all peeps out since this women is a whole lot better than any Obama

  16. You know what?

I'd much rather have a war veteran who is man enough to have admitted his greatest moral shortcoming picking an intelligent, conservative mother of 5 as a running mate than a guy who sat in a separation theology church for 20 years and only renounced it when it became clear it was a liability and expects us it had no effect on him, doesn't know how to salute our flag, favors baby killing and picks an old school bigot to be his VP.

That's what's best for this country.

  17. hi Ducky......not lookin for points here.....McCain is about McCain and has said (8yrs ago) that it was his ambition, not some deep driving urge to make the planet better that makes him want to be prez.....he wants to be be prez for the adulation

Palin is very crazy right winged...and people will come to understand that in the coming weeks...and McCain will come to understand his mistake in choosing her...most Americans are not wacko right wingers
