He maybe planning it, but he can't do it.  Only getting independent from Middle Eastern oil will drop our gas prices.

McCain, Obama, won't have the authority to force the free market system to drop gas prices.  There are things that the governemt can do but it's not in the control of any one person.

No.  I'm sorry to tell you this, but no president can drop gas prices.  If they promise something like that, don't believe them.

No president or leader has that power, its the people who print the curency that ultimatley determine's that, not even opec can control that.

the worldbank controls the financial markets and tells oil producing countries what they are willing to pay that day for a barrel of oil, so who's the powerhouse behind the worldbank ?

It's not his choice. He'll promise it no doubt, and might even make it happen by destroying the revenues income, but it'll bounce right on back up as soon as the purchasing rush happens.

Gas ain't coming back down. Get used to it.
