Question:

Is McCain right that Alaska being near Russia counts as foreign policy experience for Palin?

When asked in an ABC interview, by George Stephanopolis what foreign policy experience Palin has, Cindy McCain replied, "You know, the experience that she comes from is, what she has done in government -- and remember that Alaska is the closest part of our continent to Russia."

Is that enough foreign policy expertise to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency?

  1. ummm no lol i think thats the stupidest thing ever because what does it matter if Palin is governor of a state thats close to russia...does she have any political experience not really.....

  2. MCCAIN-PALIN all the way!

  3. Cindy is a lunatic and Palin is a liar.

They make a great team, but not leaders of the free world.

    Shove them in a drawer.

  4. Poor Cindy. Someone need to pet her on her bottle blond head and stuff some viccodin in her mouth. And tell her all she needs to do is stand there and look... "pretty."

Here is the correct link. Yes, those words actually came out of her mouth. The people who think it isn't true, where here you go!

  5. This question is as cutting as it was when it was asked 10 minutes ago

  6. how does that say anything.

  7. h**l NO

McCain took a woman as his VP to get women to vote for him. I think its an insult.

  8. As far as the Republican Party is concerned it probably does count as foreign policy experience. They have no foreign policy apart from "If in doubt take them out!"

Or: McCain is a demented old octogenarian suffering both Alzheimer's and PTSD. Take your pick. Both respones are true.

  9. No, No and No - she's been in office for 18 months! What experience could that possibly give her.  And not only that - its' the US government that makes decisions regarding foreign countries, not governors!

  10. HAHA NOT AT ALLLLLLL, that wasn't the best thing for her to say, that is really just saying anyone in alaska can run for president

  11. It's a weak argument at best. She should have said that she has just as much chance of being vp from her lack of experience as Obama who never even served in the military.

  12. Sure

  13. the girl have no experience what so ever..If she have some she not stay in Alaska pumped up 5 kids .

  14. Well that's pretty awesome.  Being that I was born and grew up in Alaska for 25 years, I can now put on my resume 25 years of foreign policy experience.

  15. h**l nah.............

    Obama/Biden 08

  16. No.

  17. Well, that makes pretty much everyone who lives in Alaska a foreign policy expert.

    And Minnesota, Washington, Texas, California...etc.

  18. Yes it is enough.  I live near an aircraft carrier, and I know I would be a great boat lady in charge,  lady of the ship,  mistress of the sea, or carrier lady supreme.  I just know it.

  19. I always thought Alaska was part of Russia.

  20. well, good old Pelosi would become the VP, so no worries, right?  Besides, if you are an Obama supporter, exactly what foreign policy expertise do you think he has?  And he is at the top of the ticket?

  21. For the person who said she is more qualified than Obama . How is that? Obama was in the State senate then the national senate. Palin was a mayor for a town that is small than most major colleges and then governor for 18 months . so that equals

Obama  = 12 years State and National Senate

Palin  = 18 months as Governor

Is is just me or dose the math not add up. Oh I get it know you are looking at just the numbers and not the years or months...... In that case 18 is more than 12

  22. h**l no.

The hardest part of running Alaska is distributing the oil revenue checks to it's citizens!

(Say "No" to McSame and Pain.)

  23. the link doesn't work

and how is Obama any more of an expert in foreign policy...?

  24. Heck, I think living in Alaska counts as foreign policy experience.  Shouldn't you have to be from the "continental" US to run for office?  What language do they speak in Alaska anyway?

  25. What? LOL... McCorpse has my vote but that's ridiculous.

  26. lol, Foreign policy experience being Alaska near Russia is the most single dumbest answer i have ever heard

  27. She said that, that is hillarious.  No being from Alaska does not count as foriegn policy experience.  If that is the case, then McCainn is really strong because he is from the south west and that is close to Mexico.

  28. UNbelievable!!  I think that McCain and family have lost their marbles!

  29.   What part did ALASKA play in shaping any of Russias foreign Policy.  SENATOR MCCAIN must be joking
