Looks like he completely lost it, or did his own Keating 5 scandal made Sarah Palin look agreeable to his corrupt ways?

  1. She clearly stated that there was nothing underhanded done in that one firing.  She is not afraid of a thorough investigation.  She has nothing to hide.  Enough said.  She has a 90-95% approval rating.  Enough said!!

  2. McCain really just f*cked up. She is against women's rights.

  3. He is not insane, just Senile. Old age will do that to you. At least we have her strong journalism degree to fall back on if she does have to be president.

I think this is just another example of McCain following closely to how Bush does things. Bush always picked people cabinet positions for their potential for political gain, not their experience. Gonzales going for Hispanic votes, Rice for black / women votes. Lets start picking people that can actually do the job, not to get votes!

  4. Yahoo is foolish for tring to compare Palin with Obama. Obama is running for president I hope he has more experience then the VP of the Republican party. To bad it really isnt that much more experience. Sarah Palin identifies with real people, her speech is genuine. America needs some people like her that make changes! What has Obama done. Most people just hate Bush. Well hate doesnt inspire nothing. Plus come on his answer about abortion shows he has no concept of human life. If people can't figure out that a persons life should be protected then there is much I want to here from that person period!

  5. Sarah Palin is strong she has a shild with downsyndrome and still is amazing. 10 times better than Hilary. McCain 08

  6. He's an idiotic old f**t. It's all pure strategy. It's a ploy to draw in the Hillary votes since they wanted a women in office and since Obama chose Biden, McCain then chooses a woman.

A woman with TWO YEARS of experience. Yet all those idiotic McCain supporters talk about Obama's lack of experience????

Gee, I know I want a VP, possibly even a president since McCain might keel over any day now, with two years of experience to run my country! WOW....just...wow. Reeks of pure desperation. He wants a running mate that can get the woman vote, not one that can actually do the job!

Palin is the MILF down the street that I want to bang, not someone I'd want running my country.

  7. Before I thought McCain might be a good option but this pick shows him as someone who is COMPLETELY out of touch. What a total joke!

  8. I think McCain made a bold choice that may very well seal the election for him. Also, the way the question is worded is in and of itself calling McCain corrupt. I believe this is uncalled for.  It makes it look as tho Yahoo is against McCain.

  9. Well, she has more experience governing then Obama does.

  10. think choosing Sarah Palin as vp was the worst decision McCain has made! She's soo inexperienced. She's barely been governer of Alaska.

    -OBAMA 08!

  11. Being an Obama supporter, I'm very happy with Grampy McSame choice.

  12. This decision is clearly an effort on the part of the McCain campaign to create a rift in the Democratic party. In her very first public appearance as VP, Ms. Palin talked about how much she admired Senator Clinton and her campaign. She went on to say that the glass ceiling is "permanently broken," something Hillary helped to "crack." This ad hominem rhetoric is trying to pit Clintonians against Obama for not picking her. He's trying to divide the party between Obama and Hillary once more. Don't think for a second that John McCain cares about women, certainly not Democratic women--Sarah Palin has no credentials that would qualify her to be the Vice-President of the United States. She's merely a crowbar which John McCain is using to pry apart the Democratic party.

  13. I am a mccain supporter.

I have NO idea WTF he is thinking on this one,

    this does him absoulutley nothing.

    He should have picked pawhlenty.

  14. Liberals don't get it. Sarah Palin so far seems like a caring tough person that won't let bogus special intrests groups get in the way of where the country is headed. I support McCains choice and she WILL be the first woman vice president and possible President one day. Hilary v. Palin Cant wait for that day!!!!!!!!!!

  15. You should read up on that "investigation" before making up your mind about her.  It smells to high heavens of political payback.  She's made a lot of enemies in Alaska because of her war on government corruption and the basis of this investigation sounds pretty petty.  Even senior Republicans are after her because she got rid of some of them, too.

You can read up on her with the links to local Alaska media coverage of the announcement in the special Sarah Palin section on the front page of http://www.USAMediaGuide.com, including a link to the Anchorage newspaper's biography of her.

  16. YES.  he is insane to take such a silly political move to steal Hillary's votes.  First of all, there are 35million single never married and divorced women in America. Out of these, Hillary got ONLY 18million including men. More than 70% of these pool are voting for Obama, along party lines. A Democrat is a Democrat.

Additionally, Hillary's profound support and speech for Obama has even won the 50% of the angry 30% left. The Democrats have united during this convention. So, why will McCain take such a silly risk for the only 15% of Hillary's supporters undecided.

Now about her achievement: She has none, only 24 months Governor experience who is already under ethics investigation. She is unknown in the national scene, "Zero" foreign service experience nor military experience, is only 44yrs and much younger than Obama.

  17. His choice is excellent!  The situation with the firing of her ex brother in law pales in comparison to the sins of obama and his American hating preacher.

  18. Well, his pick has little experience relevant to being VP or even worse, President. She has been the top dog of a state of 700,000 people - less people than in many cities in the U.S. She is very conservative which wouldn't possibly appeal to most Hillary supporters. To top it off, yes, she's under investigation for being involved in using her power to have her former brother-in-law fired from his job in the highway patrol.

Most of all, McCain made it apparent he's willing to put his election above the needs of the country. We can all agree that there are many, many more qualified people than her to be VP. Many of us could agree that there are many people who seem more likely to garner votes for McCain than she could. So why did he do it? Misjudgment - a politically fatal one.

  19. Mccain has just Lost

  20. She is so hot! She can abuse her authority on me! He can try to pick her as VP, but aint no way he's hittin that!

  21. well, true the guy was dating/married to her sister . so how do you know that she didnt have some inside info into something he did wrong to justify his firing? why do people assume that she just fired him "just because" ? she's not hiding from an investigation and seems to have nothing to hide. thats like me saying you "may" have done something wrong, so i dont like you.

  22. That's going to be the least of it.  Palin's been governor for less than 2 years...before that she was mayor of a small town.  Is this the person we want as VP to the 72 year old McCain?

  23. It would be difficult for him to find any Republican who is actually serving in public office who has not been investigated for something.  But since the Bushies fired several federal judges because they wouldn't toe the line when told to indict people who weren't guilty of anything, I guess firing somebody who was refusing to fire your ex-brother-in-law doesn't look too bad.

  24. This is not mental illness.

    This is mental retardation.

    Poor thing.

    He needs serious medical attention.

  25. Abuse of power...   She fired someone.  1 person.  Apparently though in Alaska that is a big deal.

  26. Biden's son is under investigation for lobbyist ties to his daddy.

  27. How can she be VP?

Her ex-brother-in-law illegally shot a moose!!!

  28. To whoever said that she has more experience governing than Obama does, last time I checked McCain was a senator which is LEGISLATION, making laws. She has more governing experience then them all McCain, Obama, AND BIDEN. One could then make the argument that since she has more governing experience, she should be at the TOP of the ticket. EXPERIENCE works hand in hand with judgement. You have to have BOTH!

  29. I don't see how her 2 years as governor, and mayor before that makes her any less experienced to be VP than Obama's background does for him  to be the big P!

At least Palin is behind a man that knows what's what. Obama is the man in the Democratic party, how sad is that!

  30. Wait until you hear how she supposedly misused her power. Bring it on.

She asked for her ex brother in law (a policeman) to be fired. The brother in law is accused of beating his wife (her sister), tasering his nephew and threatening her father.

  31. He can't make any good decision. He graduated from high school at the very bottom of his class. He was the 4th from the bottom i believe.
