He was so against it, as early as a few weeks ago. Now that Bush has agreed to it, will he flip flop again?

  1. It's likely that neither candidate wants to touch that issue (not even with a ten foot pole). It is, after all, the biggest issue and determining factor for voters. The man who can give the definite plan of action and STICK TO IT becomes president. Of course the candidates can't make promises they can't keep, at least not with this issue.

My guess is that McCain won't further pursue the issue of giving definities on the Iraq issue. Obama's already made it clear that war isn't his thing.

  2. yes, he is the only one left.

  3. Probably it depends on what the popular consenus is. Remember that Barrack has flip floped to, just not as much as McCain has in my opinion.

  4. A timeline is foolish. You would not build a house on a timeline, you use an event based plan. You can't add the roof until the walls are up.

  5. I belive so. Bush caved in because of pressure from everyone. It will take alot to have him cave.

  6. he is against a time table, he thinks troop withdraws should be based on the ground situation in iraq. meaning,....only if the military officials over there say that its stable enough to START withdrawing troops that it would be ok. we cant just set a time for them to leave when violence is still a big issue........
