  1. Thank you Babchie for pointing out that Biden's SON is a freakin' lobbyist.  Too bad the Obama fans just don't care.

  4. I don't know if he's still claiming it, but if he is he's lying big time. According to the New York Times, many of McCain's primary funders are big business lobbyists

  7. McCain said that he would agree to not accept lobbyist money if the democratic nominee would also agree. Obama campaigned on how he wouldn't take lobbyist money. Until he got the nomination. Then he changed his mind and said he wasn't agreeing to the no lobbyist rule. Since Obama wouldn't agree to the rule it was dropped.

  10. Big corporation lobbyists have tremendous influence on both the Republicans and the Democrats. Big business lobbyists throw a "million dollar" party, the congress, the senate, and the politicians get invited. Next thing you know, decisions are made that benefit the business and hurt the people.

    Why do you think nothing gets done about the terribly flawed health care system here? Why do you think Americans can't get cheaper Canadian pharmaceutical drugs? Why do you think we have eminent domain laws in this country? Why do we have a massive trade imbalance with China? Why are the credit card laws so deceiving and flawed? Why does nothing ever get done about illegal immigration? Why doesn't America have  a "loser-pays-all" system with the lawyers and courts"? Why are so many jobs outsourced? Why is everything made in China? Why can our personal information be sold to third party marketing companies by the credit bureaus - and we have no say? It's because of the lobbyists "paying off" the politicians and lawmakers.

  12. Why dont you do a search on Biden earmarks? You will see that Biden's son is a lobbyist that got earmark money from Obama.
