  1. I think it's both. I'm not saying don't eat McDonald's, just don't eat it every day. It should be like a special treat and not every day meal. So if parents let their kids eat it every day it's their fault. McDonald's should use different type of preparing food than frying etc....

  2. McDonalds hasn't made anyone fat. McDonalds doesn't force anyone to eat there.

  3. Both don't forget the tv. No excercise!

Cheap menu at McDonalds. Saves parents wallet and time to prepare a healthy meal.

    parents being lazy.

  4. The parents are responsible b/c they BRING their kids there and PAY for their meals.  People blame it on McDonald's b/c it's so easy, but EVERYONE in the world knows that fast food is unhealthy yet they still eat it and wonder why they get fat.  Plus, there are plenty of other food choices but people are too lazy to seek them out or they quickly brush off the food as "gross" or "bland."  From personal experience, a soy burger is just as tasty as a Big Mac, but of course, most people would not agree with that.

I think McDonalds is okay for kids if eaten in moderation with plenty of exercise.

  5. i don't feel it is McDonald's. it is video games & too much t.v. & computers. kids need to get outside & run & play & use their imaginations

  6. Parents should educate themselves about nutrition, children should be exercising (like riding bikes or walking to school and playing sports), and it should be rare to eat out anywhere. It's almost impossible to eat healthfully in restaurants. Also, lunches are better packed than purchased at school. School lunches are NOT highly nutritional.

  7. i think its the parents fault.now a days for some reason alot of parents let the kids rule and tell them what to do and where to go.its not the restaurants fault for making burgers and fries.if you think about it going to a sit down restaurant you can get the same things too.its up to the ones who are paying for the food to choose the right stuff.

  8. its both...

parents who feed their kids McDogcrap are guilty and as far as I'm concerned, Fast Food is one of the most irresponsible businesses in the world.

Nothing good can come from eating it.

  9. Definitely both.  Lots of companies like McDonalds engineer their food with horrible ingredients that make you love the taste.  Parents also drop the ball if they feed their kids this c**p all the time.

  10. It's the parent(s) who have a basic lack of education in nutrition.  Most are products of the public school system and they never were taught about the importance of eating a balanced diet & they pass that misinformation along to their own children.

  11. Parents are the problems. mcdonalds just makes food for a living to making money.  their not shoving the food down your mouth or even sticking a gun at them its people's choice what they want to eat and feed their kids. i work there  and im not defending them ive work at mcdonalds for 6 yrs and i have not gained one pound there. and i weigh 135 lbs. since i work there i get a free meal everyday. so i eat there everyday. i sometimes eat healthy but sometimes i dont. its the peoples diet and excerise that makes them fat.

  12. I think that it is the parents responsibility to monitor what their kids eat.  If the parents live an unhealthy lifestyle they will most likely pass it on to their children.   McDonalds is definetly not to blame!  I think people are just looking for convenience when they choose what to eat and they don't think of the long-term effects their unhealthy eating habits will lead to in the future.  I don't think that kids shouldn't eat fast food ever, but they should only be allowed to eat it in moderation.  When I was little, McDonalds was like a special treat to us.  We only got it if we were away from home, not because my mom didn't feel like cooking dinner for us!
