Is McFarlane toys worth for investment?

I just want to know, coz i want to collect McFarlane Toys and keep it then sell it in the future. But i read here at yahoo that Mcfarlane toys have the odd problem of not selling for much even if you wait a few years! is that true?

yes a few years isn't going to do it. You have to have limited editions. type stuff and even then your profit may not be that much after say 10 years. Collect them but don't expect a return for a while.

with toys the price is always high at the begining and what producers do is not make many at the begining so they can charge rediculous prices only invest in toys if you know there will be a shortage for example the nintendo wii at xmas although my money is on the ps3 this xmas as its out selling wii now

anything like that is worth something eventually. Just dont spend all your money on it expecting to make a million dollars on it tomorrow. Be patient. Look at star was figures. I love Spawn...hes awesome. McFarlane is the best artist ever when it comes to comics
