  1. YES ALL REP. ARE!!!

  2. He's gone back and forth on it, but right now, yes he is against it. Apparently Cindy is not!

  3. Of course not.  I'm fairly certain McCain is fine with women using their brain and deciding NOT to engage in s*x unless they desire to do so (with the knowledge it could lead to getting pregnant), that woman CAN opt to use contraceptives and woman can require their male partners to wear a condom.

As to abortion, I'm not really certain about McCain.  I have a sneaky feeling that McCain gives lip service to the Christian right and/or Pro-life groups.

Regardless though, the only thing McCain could possibly do as President (in regards to ROE vs Wade) is nominate a Supreme Court justice that "might" overturn it (who wouldn't make it through confirmation btw).  This is basically a big non-issue if that is the only reason you might be afraid of voting for McCain.

BTW, States have a limited ability to control abortion (they all must allow it) due to the United States Supreme Court decision in Roe vs. Wade (they wrongly made it a constitutional issue).  Even assuming the Supreme Court overturned it (doubtful folks), States would than assume the responsibility and lets be honest..abortion still happens.

  4. Yes he us and so is his running mate Palin.

  5. It is a state issue not a federal one. When it comes to choosing women, Obama had a clear choice; Hillary who received 18 million votes or tired old insider Joe Biden. He picked Biden. Now he has women out campaigning for him after Palin was chosen by McCain. This to me is tokenism. He had a chance to do the right thing for women and he did not. That is the Choice we should all notice.

  6. McCain is Pro life.

  7. Nope.  He's pro-rights for the baby.

Unfortunately, we've got a way polarized issue.

Obama vetoed the right to life for babies who were born alive after a botched abortion.  They were to be left in a utility room to die alone.

Then we've got some staunch republicans who believe birth control is essentially abortion.

I'm a Republican and I'm pro-choice, but I'm anti-partial birth abortion.  The AMA has stated that there is NO situation where a partial birth abortion will save the life of the mom.

  8. It is not a state to state issue it is a federal issue because of Roe v Wade.

He wants Roe over turn so that it would be become an state to state issue.

I can't go with Obama's Pro-Abortion (Obama is not Pro-Choice choice ends once the baby is breathing on their own that is why I say he is Pro-Abortion) stance of that baby is born alive that the child should die of neglect in closet.  I consider comprise but right now it is all or nothing.

The reality is that Roe won't be over turn and abortions won't be illegal for all case in the United States if McCain is elected.

  9. Yes...McCain is strongly conservative on women's right to chose.

  10. Yes, he's pro life - thank God!

  11. Not at all, he just believes the baby should have a choice as well.

  12. I completely agree with harbinger... and republicans are not necessarily against a woman's right to choose, but rather if she must choose life or death, she will do so before the third trimester.  They are against partial birth abortion which is the most horrid of them all anyway... and as for other abortion, that is a case-by-case basis, the state has to choose...
