Is MediaConverter.org legal to download mp3's from?

I used to use FrostWire to download mp3s, but today my friend showed me MediaConverter.com and explained how I can convert YouTube music videos to mp3's. It works great. My friend claims it is legal, but I want to be absolutely certain. Can someone please help me??

By the way, if possible, could you please give the specifics about this, because I want to know EXACTLY what the law states about this, and what laws this is (or is not) breaking.

No, it isn't legal. It violates the Terms and Conditions of Youtube.

if you download copy righted material without the permission of the owner of the rights then you are breaking the law. it doesn't matter where you download it from.
