Is Mediacom any good?

Question

I have Directv right now and i am not happy with them. i had a bad storm July 30, 2008 and my living room receiver does not work. they were suppose to come out aug 19 and they cancel and first said they would come out sept 4 and now they say sept 8. my husband called mediacom and we are getting them Friday aug 29 so, are they good are not i heard they are a good cable company i know they have alot of more channels then i thought.

i used to be with cable but they we're going to raise the price up last month now i'll be moving to another town it was low for awhile they have a lot of good channels but you would need to call and check it out on your own
