  1. Melbourne is a bit of a racing "hub", but to gain experience, I'd start country, then work your way onto the metro tracks, and in with the metro trainers.

    You gotta be small, light and have nerves of steel.

    Start with trackwork riding.


  2. ur experience of riding? age? hight? weigh? first of all u learn how to ride trot then cantre and then gallap and i m telling u donot look profesnol jokey if u r new rider               good luck

  3. agree with the answer above. You would have to go to the smaller country tracks. If you are any good, because apprentices get a weight drop sometimes city trainers will use you to give the runner a weight advantage. This is how you get your chance in the city.
