Is Memorial University of Newfoundland a good University for an International Student?

I'm a study from the middle east planning to study Computer Science or Business Administration. Is it a good idea to go and study in Newfoundland, Canada?

  1. I'm not an international student but I love MUN. There are lots of international students and services available to help you settle in.

    It's more expensive for international students but there are some scholarships available.

    There are some dorms for students but you may want to consider renting space off campus. Lots of the houses close to Mun rent out their basements to students prices range from $300-$600 a month depending on how big the space is and if utilities are  included or not.

    Newfoundland is a cool province with lots of history.  St. John's isn't a big city but people are pretty laid back and friendly.

    There are a lot of international students from the Middle East and a number of Professors also from the Middle East.

    They do a international bizarre every year with international students get to show case their culture. I love it because I get my fix of curry.
