Is Mexican people(Immigrants) enriching our diversity, our culture, our economy and our language ?

In Nuyork we use " Is" instead "are" for some questions in plural. for instance: We say " Where is my Keys?" instead "Where are my Keys?"

Yes, I believe they do. I have adopted many Mexican cultures into my life and I love the Mexican lifestyles and cultures. For people who are willing to learn other things that are not the "white American" life, Mexicans (and other immigrants too) have good, new things to show us.

h**l ya they are! I'm of German descent and my ancestors helped enrich and diversify this country. Same for Hispanics. Every "wave" of immigrants in this country has withstood the brunt of racism, unwarranted criticism and outright mistreatment. The Irish, the Germans, the chinese, etc. Get off the Mexicans backs! EVERY one of them that I have met are honest, hard-working people just looking for a better life in this great Country of OURS!

That said, I do have a problem with the fact that the rate of growth in the United States will actually be higher than Mexico and the rest of Latin America in twenty years. By the year 2050, the census department predicts the population growth rate of United States will be triple that of Mexico.

Some are, then ones that immigrate here, condone illegal invasion, claim racism yet spread racism at the same time and try to change this once great nation by protesting and forcing their culture upon us are pathetic and are not only are they not enriching anything they are bad for the nation.

America is a nation of immigrants and its descendants. So to call it an American culture and language .. I don't see what you're getting at. The english language is a hybrid of many other languages.

Some people keep their culture and language longer than others, and it seems that many people who are anti-Mexican / Spanish language don't have a clue where their roots truly are. Either that, or they only use them when it's to their advantage, like to get a scolarship at a school their parents couldn't afford to send them to.
