Is Mexico so small that you could drive round it all in one day and back again?

If I ever get the change to go for a holiday there I was planning on doing just that.I won't drive for more them two hours. I would also stop to sight see and visit places along the way.

  1. Uh no. Look at a map, Mexico is very large, but the parts that most Americans go to are small local areas. You could easily get the "Mexican" tourist experience in just a few hours.

    Mexico is a very large country, with many places having very unimproved roads. There is no way, in this or any other lifetime, you could drive around this country in one day.

  5. From Mexico City to Cancun is like over 24 hours driving....plus driving in Mexico is pretty scary especially if you only drive for only 2 hours....a 20 minute drive in some city's can take up to 2 hours in Mexico city.....

    it could take a life time for you to see Mexico at your pace...

  6. Mexico is 761,605.81 square miles. Greater Mexico City is the largest city in the western hemisphere and the second largest city in the world.   That would be hard to do in a day.
