Is Michael Andretti gonna try to race in this year's Indy 500?

Now that the gun had sounded and Bump Day is over I can offically say NO.

No.  He said last year that he was really not likely to race this year.  I would be surprised if he did though.

As a driver, no.  As an owner, yes.  He has several cars in the field.

Now that Bump Day is officially over, the only way he can race now is if he replaces one of the drivers in one of the four cars he owns that are already qualified.  

It's VERY unlikely that he will do so, considering that three of the four drivers have 2 or more Indy 500 starts each....IF he were to take someone's seat, only rookie Hideki Mutoh would be the one who he'd replace, but again, VERY unlikely.
