  1. He did say he'll try to get 8 gold medals in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. And I heard he's not retiring. I just hope he won't retire soon. I mean, he can still win so much more.  He's only 23 after all. But like others say, he'll take it easy and give others a chance.

He's my favorite swimmer, and I would like to see him compete in the next Olympics in London, 2012. But I guess it's up to him now.

  2. I hope so, whats he gonna do he has won every medal and broke every record he should just retire and relax. Super Athlete but please give someone else a go in the next olympics :)

  3. i sure hope not. i like to see him in 2012 in london

  4. Yes, he said Beijing will be the last Olympics for him.

  5. He will come to London but not with that crazy goal and those many events.

He will take advantage of his youth in Beijing and complete the 8 gold medals goal and then he will take it easy in London but continue to quietly rank in more medals.

  6. In an interview with Andrea Kramer he said he will likely come to the next Olympics, but he won't do as many events because the schedule is just too tiring for him.
