Is Michelle Obama's scripted speech fooling all Americans or just the naive ones?

After spending 20 years in a church and espowsing to the beliefs of a racist preacher from a black militant church do you really believe these folks are mainstream America? Sad that so many Americans can be fooled by this baloney...

First of all, Obama and his wife shouldn't be judge by what someone else is preaching about. It was never heard that they stated it so why is it such a big deal. I feel that so many people are looking for so many reasons to discredit Obama just because he is black but not looking at his character and his ability to run this country. And for those who insists on voting for Mc Cain just for that reason dont have a clue, because one, our country will further go down with another republican in office. He will further pick up where Bush left off and  we all will suffer BLACK and WHITE and the in betweens. Sometimes I hate America myself cause it isn't fair as  proclaimed to be. That is why so many other countries are far ahead of us. We need to get it together!!!!

It wasn't a racist church that is a simplistic response to a minor controversy, You act as if every single sunday the good Rev Wright was up there spewing venom, so let's do some math shall we, let's say the average service is 90 minutes long and let's also suppose that Wright took some vacation time so let's say he gave 48 sermons a year for 20 years, with me so far? That's over 86,000 minutes of preaching of which even the most whacked out far right media sites can only show about 45 minutes of wright stepping out of bounds, still with me? That means that in the 20 years Obama attended, and assuming he was actually there every single time wright put his foot in his mouth (which is highly improbable given Obama's other duties) that means less than .0000523% of the time wright showed anything that SOME might (and I emphasize might since alot of us get where he was coming from) find racist, I'm sorry but this whole made up reverend wright controversyis just phucking idiotic

I THINK SHE PROBABLY IS A GOOD WIFE AND AND A LOYAL MOTHER, AND I THOUGHT HER SPEECH WAS WELL AND HER KIDS CUTE. Virtually all speeches are 'scripted'. There are few - very, very few - speakers who get up and talk 'off the cuff'. I've been making speeches for thirty years, and I've never talked without disciplined preparation. To stand in front of any audience without preparation - and without knowing what you were going to say - would be a slap in the face to your audience.

What makes you believe the church was a 'black militant' congregation, and that the preacher was any more racist than your question posted here? You obviously have 'issues' with blacks, apparently because you don't accept them as part of 'mainstream' America. Too bad, because in another few decades, blacks, Hispanics and Asians will outnumber white anglo-saxon-protestants in the United States. It's sad that so many Americans can be fooled into believing that America is a "whites only" venue. America is a melting pot of people from different cultures, religions, races, genders, sexual persuasions and political ideologies. Accept it and learn to live with it.    -RKO-
