Is Microsoft outlook better than Gmail ?

i mean you have to pay for outlook (i think) so shouldn't it be better

like how much spam its gotten

I've never gotten spam in my inbox in gmail and i'm not sure if i should switch

How good does it work for you?

I like outlook.

Gmail doesn't allow you to set up folders, all the mail is left sitting in your inbox.  Outlook allows for subfolders.  You can set up rules to sort or delete incoming messages as well.

I have both and prefer Outlook.  Not to mention if your connection is down, you still have your email available in Outlook.  No access, no Gmail.

I have tried both, and I will say that Gmail is a much more reliable system and also gives more space for your emails. Using MS's mail, I got much more spam (although not as much as Yahoo). And using an email client like Thunderbird, you can still browse your emails offline.
