Its whatever you want them to be. Personally i think its ugly. But if you want a mini and you need the extra room then it doesn't matter if its a mans car or a womens car. Its a good car just a bit ugly...

Dude, ANY Mini Cooper is a "Man's" Car! To make it seem less girly, I would get it in a Dark Silver color and give it black rims. Here, try going to - http://www.miniusa.com/#/build/configura...   If you create the kind I suggested, you can see that it looks pretty Manly. :)
