Is Miniunim wage going up in the month of July 2008

I heard a lot of people talking about it at school.But if it goes up will the people who get pay more than miniunim wage pay per hour go up to.

  1. I work in the fiancial aid office at my school, so from my understanding it isn't. Except fiancial aid has given students 200 dollarrs more than last year. Which is not anything because tuiton went up too.

  2. Fortunately, it isn't! Individual states may have higher rates, but as long as your employer is paying the highest applying minimum, they are NOT required to raise your wage any higher... Increasing the minimum is fiscal stupidity... People who really WANT to earn more are perfectly capable of making themselves WORTH more...
