Is Mira Mesa, in the city of San Diego, a nice/good place to live?

Just moved there from ventura county because I am going to san diego state. I do not know much about san diego, and would like to know of any opinions about mira mesa. Thanx!

It's pretty nice.  My in-laws live there.  Lots of traffic around that area on the 15 though.

Mira Mesa is a nice area in San Diego.  It is north of SDSU on Interstate 15.  You might also look in La Mesa which would be closer to the college.

There can be lots of traffic between I-8 and Mira Mesa during commute hours.

NO!    people think it's nice because it's  newer than most San Diego areas but it's  got gangs and traffic (lots)

Yes, I think it is. There are of course always nicer areas for Millionaires but if you want to know more. find the local elementary school and check out greatschools.com. It will tell you a huge amount the area.
