Is Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble Tomato Plant Food an organic food?

I got Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble Tomato Plant Food before, but I wanna know it is an organic or inorganic food for tomato & vegetables. Please let me know.

  1. No..it's not organic.


  2. No, it isnt organic.  In order to qualify for organic  it must not contain any additives other than that which occures naturally

    such as animal manure, decayed plants and such.No chemicals.

  3. In addition to being inorganic, those products add salts to the soil which can build up after years of use.

    If you have room for a compost bin, make your own compost and use that to feed your tomatoes. If space is limited, you can buy compost in bags.

    I add about a 4-inch layer of compost to the garden soil every year before planting. No other fertilizer is needed.

  4. Inorganic.  Organic would be material not manufactured but taken from naturally occuring products such as cottonseed meal, manures, seaweed, fish meal, compost.
