  1. It is some years since I went there and as far as I am concerned the answer is yes. I hope things improve because I can remember when it was not

  2. seems a lot better than it used to be , but it seems the main attraction is the statue of eric morecambe. that just about says it all.

  3. I lived in Morecambe between the ages of 9 and 17 and it practically ruined my entire life.  There is a huge black cloud over the place.  All Morecambe residents look like they escaped from a secure psychiactric unit in the mid 1970s.  Tacky is  too positive a description for the h**l hole.  All shops and 50% of homes are derelict.  It is a well known haven for drug addicts and pensioners.  I don't know which is worse.

I had occasion this week to meet my parents in Morecambe, where we sat on the promenade in the rain drinking cold weak coffee, whilst my Dad pointed out a new sandwich board.  That's about as entertaining Morecambe is.

  4. Ever been to Middlesbrough?

Middlesbrough is the worst place in England.

    Highest teenage pregnancy rates.

    Awful pollution.

    Massive drug culture.

    **** housing.

    Masive unemployment.

    High rate of paedophilia.

    **** football club.

I'm so glad i'm not from there.

  5. I unfortunately live in morecambe and it is the most depressing town in england,i was suprised i actually seen a question about this on yahoo, reasons for it being depressing,it's in the north of england, and all as people from the north of england do is complain,we need southern people to come in and make morecambe good again,i'm 16 and moved here when i was 3,before then i lived in banbury(south of england),i really wish we never moved to this h**l hole,i am a positive person but i can't think of anything good to say about morecambe, morecambe did used to be a good seaside resort but over the last 10 years it's went down hill, but there is alot of investors coming in,i hope it does become a better place,if you do come to morecambe stay in the midland hotel,it does look amazing now that it's finished
