I think he receives to much credit in NASCAR. He hasn't won in like a year almost.

  1. Well, just driving in NASCAR races every week at age 66 is impressive enough. Doing so on a shoestring budget is remarkable as well.

Not sure what you mean by "He hasn't won in like a year almost." Actually it's been nearly 15 years since his last victory.

In his best years, he was an excellent driver. And now, he is still one of the most remarkable personalities in the sport.

  2. heck no

  3. I don't think so, he still got the drive for racing...Albiet hes up there in age and continues on a shoe string budget, but as long as he qualifies for each race, I say more power to him.

  4. 1) Never call your own favorite driver overrated, even if they are.

    2) I agree that at his age, and his budget, he's not doing too bad.

    3) Morgan's a classy guy, I'd love to see him win one more, it's unlikely, but it'd be great!

  5. He's going to win soon..and prove you wrong!!111

  6. i'm not sure, no one has posted his ratings lately. the only ratings I see would depict Morgan Shepherd as extremely underrated. Maybe he needs more press or media time or something. I guess my answer would be "No Morgan Shepherd is not overrated"

  7. I agree, just to make races at age 66 is impressive. God bless him, would love to see him win anyway! And put James Hylton in a race or two, I think he's about 73 now. Give these young'uns some old-school lessons :^)

  8. Morgan is one of the nicest guys in NASCAR. He's been around a long time and can do the job when the equipment is right and luck goes his way. Most of the other drivers know and trust him not to be stupid. I think he is underrated if anything.

  9. I am not a hater but don't they say this about a certin driver that I ADORE and Love that is related to him?

A nd this certain driver just went to VICTORY LANE IN MICHIGAN!!!

    Go Dale Jr #88

    Go HMS

  10. Morgan Shepard tried really hard and i respect that, and he doesn't have the help like the other drivers do these days. Money the root of all evil is what makes alot of the drivers today as good as they are and other words the drivers that does not have quite as much money and the best sponcers actually are better than their showing us because the money short and the more you pay the faster you will go.( pit crews, motors, technology, cost a lot and some drivers don't have as much as others to have the best equipment and crews to be the best that can be, so yes i respect morgan shepard because i have morgan shepard qualify for Daytona with only half the tires th eother drivers had and other words he was running slim on his on, but still trying and thats all that matters.
