Is Moscow in europe or asia?

i realize that part of russian is above asia but isant moscow and st.petersburg considered part of europe

Moscow is in Europe. I think Russia is roughly divided into a European part and an Asian part by the Ural Mountains

Moscow is in Europe. Asia starts East of the Ural Mountains and South of Caucasus Mountains and  East of the the Caspian and Black seas . Basically 1800 to 200 Km far  (1,100-1,300 miles from Moscow).

St Petersburg is even more west  (around 700 Km from Moscow ) and closer to Norway and Finland than to Moscow

Yes they are part of Europe. I've been to St.Pete before. Its quite nice.
