  1. it is if u're talking bout the height above sea level, the tallest one is Mauna Kea....

Mauna Kea (“White Mountain”) is inactive volcano, Hawaii, northern Hawaii Island. Mauna Kea is the highest peak in the state and its slopes are generally snow-covered in winter. The volcano rises about 5600 m from the ocean floor to the surface and continues up to a height of 4205 m above sea level, making its overall height from its base on the ocean floor to its summit 9,800 m, higher than any other mountain in the world.

    Btw, is 'Bawang' means Onion???

  2. Mount Everest may be the world’s highest mountain, but it’s not the tallest. Hawaii’s Mount Mauna Kea is four thousand feet taller, but its huge base is submerged, which means Everest rises higher above sea level. Actually, satellite measurements indicate that the Himalayan peak K2, at 29,030 feet, is two feet higher than Everest, but snow and erosion make precise measurements difficult to attain.

  3. No it's not. If you're talking about height above sea level, Everest is tallest.

  4. Yes it is

  5. Mauna Kea is the tallest mountain in the world when measured from base to summit, since its base is located on the seafloor some  ft ( m) beneath the surface of the Pacific Ocean, bringing its total height to well over  33,476ft. In the Hawaiian language, mauna kea means "white mountain", a reference to its summit being regularly snow-capped during the Northern Hemisphere winter.

  6. Mauna Kea, a huge, very tall volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii (called Hawaii).

Mauna Kea stretches 13,796 above water and 19,680 underwater, for a total of 33,476.

Mount Everest stands 29,028 feet tall.

K2 Mount Godwin-Austen, rises 28,250 ft in the Karakorum range and is the second tallest mountain in the world, behind Mount Everest which rises 29,028 ft (8848 m). It was discovered and measured by the Survey of India in 1856, and first named for English topographer Henry Godwin-Austen, who explored and surveyed the region. "K2 is taken from the first letter of Karakorum, and the number indicates that it was the second peak in the range to be measured. An Italian team led by Ardito Desio reached the summit in 1954. A March 1987 measurement of K2 indicated that it might be higher than Everest, but later that year, Everest was re-measured by a similar method and found to indeed be 778 ft (237 m) taller.
