Is Mozilla Firefox reliable? Does it (in any way) have a bad rep?

No man, it's excellent and has an superb rep.

The best feature about Firefox in my opinion is that it is so customizable with various extensions and addons.

My favourite addon is "No script" which prevents a website executing javascript or the like on my computer without my permission.

You cannot imagine how much safer this makes browsing.
