  1. no blair fecked everything then did a runner

  2. It is like the labour party are working for the enemy because since 1947 they have taken Great Britain from being the greatest Empire of the World to being just a colony of Europe, how sad is that?

  3. No: (government) has been destroying england since the end of the second world war. It don't matter who you vote 4 they all speak allot of hope but produce nothing just more & more criminal offences. Tony blair made over 3000 new criminal offences. Wake up people, we are living in a police state. You can now get a fine if you disagree with the government's policy's and what not. I represent 1 of thousands of unhappy angry ready to revolt people in ipswich it's time to get rid of this organised slavery!

  4. Yes to both.

  5. Yes, yes and yes please. He's almost achieved what even the Germans couldn't manage.

  6. Yes and yes.

  7. Not quite, he's a close third to Blair, then Thatcher.

  8. Labour was voted in in the last election and so the leader of the Labour party becomes the prime minister plus as he is British he has the right to run the British government. About the part about him been the worst prime minister ever, it's very hard to measure the worse PM as there's no unit of measurement so it's all opinion based.

I'm not a Brown supporter but I'm just answering this very biased question (if you can call it that as it's more of statement-notice the lack of a question mark- of his opinion).

  9. Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes and soon!

It's not about him being Scottish, It more about him being useless and clueless!

  10. yes!! i cant stand him! he looks like such a gimp as well lol!!

    grrrrr i cant stand him!!

  11. When will you ignorant lot realise that this country DOES NOT CHOOSE THE PRIME MINISTER!!

In the UK, we vote for a party member to send them to Parliament. The PARTY chooses the leader of the PARTY, and if the PARTY gets a majority of seats the PARTY leader becomes PRIME MINISTER.

Simple enough for you? No one who votes in this country has EVER chosen the Prime Minister. Gordon Brown is not an exception.

And there's no such thing as a 'Scotchman.' Scotch is whisky.

Funny how no one used to moan about having a Scottish (note the spelling, love) Prime Minister when Tony Blair was running the country downwards. What, you never realized he was Scottish? Oops. Born in Edinburgh, educated in Edinburgh, Scottish ancestry. At least as Scottish as Brown.

If you think there's an Englishman who could do a better job, would you like to explain why he or she isn't currently challenging for the leadership?

'Pity England, if she never had Scots to think for her.'

    George Bernard Shaw

  12. Spot on!

  13. No one voted for Blair either. We voted for the Labour party. Whoever is the head of the labour party is the Prime Minister, that's the way it works.

I suppose your a seperatist? It's not happening. The UK is there to stay, it's not going to split up any time soon.

  14. He is NOT the Prime Minister of England, he is the Prime Minister of the UK and as Scotland (for the time being anyway) is part of the UK he is entitled to be the UK Prime Minister.

  15. Until now, 1923 Lib Dem Government was the worst government. Now its 2007 Labour.

    Prime Minister, Chamberlin was worse.

I object to you calling him the Scotsman though. He is British therefor has a right to the British Govenment but YES go Mr. Brown please

  16. England has never had a Prime Minister.  The office didn't exist when England was an independent country.

  17. He's not doing it because he's a Scot he's doing it because he's a prat.

  18. All politicians who have reached the top!Have one thing on their minds! After using an array of questionable methods to get there! How will British Political History remember me?

In Gordon Brown's case it can only come to the conclusion that he has not measured up to the expectations of Denis Healey and the late John Smith?Who put a lot of time and effort into his cause!

Yes!Gordon Brown has certainly took a lot of innocent people in!

But!How do the back benches of the Labour Party feel! After all! They have a lot to lose!Lots of taxpayers money, expenses and honours at the end of it!

It will be interesting at the Labour Conference in September! In front of the camera's!We support you Gordon! But away from the camera! The political knives have been sharpened!Ready to strike!Keep your eye on Harriet Harman!
