  1. Their was.

  2. it a thing to make kids feel special during the hollidays

  3. St. Nicholas was a real guy - from what is now Turkey, St. Nicholas is the patron saint of children, sailors, and a few others.

For those of us with Austrian, German, Dutch and a few other backgrounds, St. Nicholas actually comes on his feast day (Dec. 6) to bring presents and/or candies to fill up our shoes.

In other cultures, he plays Santa Claus on Dec. 25th (Santa = Saint, Claus from the spelling Nicholaus).

  4. How old are you? If you are under 5, then yes, of course there is really a Santa Claus. Your parents help him by going out and buying things so he will not have to carry so much. He does not live at the North Pole, it is melting. I think he lives in Alaska or Greenland. Of course he goes by different names in different countries, so that can be tricky.

Your Mom and Dad know him personally though, that is why you usually get what you want.

  5. Santa Claus is a satanic ploy to turn the glorious birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into a capitalist sin fest!

    God Bless!

  6. Um...... DUH! "Santy Claus" is so fake! How old are you? If you're like 8-11 I understand, but if you're older than that? wow!

  7. google it.

  8. Santa Claus used to be real.  Now there is no way a grown man flies around in a sleigh every christmas eve and gives gifts to the good boys and girls.  I'm sorry.
