Is Muttaiah Muralidharan can take 1000 wickets in test cricket ?

The guy still has a few years and is a quality spinner - I think he may be able to do it. My guess is that if he gets close... say to 900 - he may just extend his career slightly to get to the milestone... I mean that's 1000 wickets - remarkable. A possibility no doubt.

Muttaiah Muralidharan is one of the xcellent player in this world. he wish to get 1000 wickets. He have the fitness. He can play for a long time. Srilanka cricket will help him.

It will depend upon hoiw long he can continue to play.  I strongly feel that he will not be able to achieve the target of 1000 test wickets.

Well definitely yes if he plays two years more he will certainly pick 1000 wickets.

I think he will need to play until he is about 42(he is 36 now) to reach 1000 wickets, so providing he can retain his fitness and form it is possible.
