Is My Berded Dragon Sick ?

Hello,

Everytime I pick him up he swishes his tail really fast, Is this normal ?

He's 1 year old.

He only stops when I support him with both hands.

No, he just doesn't feel safe being held in only one hand-that's why he stops when you use both.  An adult beardie is pretty hard to hold securely with only one hand.

bearded dragons use thier tails for balance, when you hold him make sure you support his tail so he can balance properly, there is nothing wrong with him

beardies use their tails as defensive weapons and to keep their balance. mine does it all the time its kinda hard to do but just scoop him up with both hands, its more comforting for him too.
